Sales reps

Orders arrive while your reps are out selling. Rocoto reads them into albaranes and stops at the ones that need a person.

A rep's day runs between the van, the market and the packing bench, with the phone in one hand. Rocoto works on the same phone and the same desk: it fills in what it already knows about that account, it holds back what it is unsure of, and everything the packers need prints in one press.

What that account always takes

The albarán, as it is written

A new albarán opens on what that account always takes, and the first line arrives filled — «they asked for merluza · filled with Merluza, what you had».

What they took last time and what they have stopped taking is on the same screen. The history sits inside the line, at the moment the line is written.

It goes out, or it comes with a reason

The orders that need a person

The everyday messages Rocoto answers the way your house answers them, in sentences it took off your own history.

The rest arrive with the reason they waited, the customer's own words, what Rocoto read off them, and the albarán already open behind them.

The day's paper in one press

The paper the packing team works from

The day's albaranes stand in one place with a count on each — 126 to print, six new since a quarter past nine. They go when you press.

The same document reformats itself for A5, and every line carries what actually went out: the kilos, the class and the lote.
